MBN works with insurance carriers to provide reviews of existing environmental reports for large, multiple property portfolios. The purpose of the reviews is to assist in identifying existing environmental conditions or data gaps that can then be accounted for in the resulting environmental insurance policy as exclusions.
MBN also assists a large worldwide insurance carrier with the review of environmental remediation projects that have been submitted as claims. MBN often attends on Site to review the specifics of the claim with the claimant and observes the remediation project. If the remediation is complete MBN has historically been retained to complete a forensic review of the scope of work and related costs/invoices to determine if the value of the claim is reasonable.
